the last client

This's gonna be a werid post.
Yaoi or adult oriented boy love manga is most of time kind of crappy n highly commercialized. And i came across this yaoi manga titled 'the last client', written n drawn by takashima kazusa. [geez i can never remember her name]

Chris Valentine [the hitman]

Aya
Real name Asahi

The episode scans I read weren't complete and i have no idea if takashima continued with the story since the 6th chapter. Plotwise, well, it's already way above average. The storyboards r good, so are the character designs.
It slowly dawns on me that there're lots of mangaka who draw in roughly the same style. It isn't original in any sense. Like the way takashima draws the hair in confident black streaks with lots of highlights, and the way she expresses the tendons, muscles and the male body anatomy looks just right. I used to think nakajo [author of 'hanakimi'] is kind of unique in style but after seeing all kinds of works (those not in the main stream), i slowly get the idea that they're all the same. Sometimes it's kind of hard to tell whether it's by the hands of a female mangaka or not coz the lines r kind of handled with lots of strength n certainty. Maybe it's just my own false assumption.
